Previo a la ceremonia, los niños y
jóvenes, provenientes de diversas ciudades del país, hacen un
recorrido turístico por Curacaví, visitando entre otros lugares el "Fundo
Casas Viejas", "Empanadas Alby", Dulcería "La Encina" y Chichería "Durán". Se
movilizaron en un bus y en una caravana de vehículos recorriendo el Valle de
Curacaví junto al guía turístico de la Municipalidad.
Previous to the ceremony, the children and young,
coming from diverse cities of the country, make a tourist journey by
Curacaví, visiting among other places, the “ Fundo Casas Viejas” ,
“Empanadas Alby”, Dulcería “La Encina” and Chichería “Durán”. They
were transported in a bus and in a caravan of vehicles traveling
through the Valley of Curacaví with the tourist guide of the
Municipality.
Se reunieron a la entrada de la Municipalidad de Curacaví.
Luego ingresaron al parque comunal
donde fueron recibidos con bebidas y sandwiches (emparedados).
They met at the entrance of the Municipality of
Curacaví. Then, they entered to the communal park, where they were
received with drinks and sandwiches.
   
Se instaló un Polo de la Paz en el lugar de
convocatoria.
It was settled a Peace Pole in the convocation
place.
  
Niños y adultos disfrutaron conociendo
lugares turísticos de la zona y aprendiendo de los procesos de elaboración de
alimentos y licores típicos. Un guía turístico los instruyó acerca de las
características del valle de Curacaví.
Children and adults enjoyed knowing tourist
places of the area and learning of the processes of elaboration of typical foods
and liquors. A tourist guide taught them about the characteristics of the
Curacaví Valley.

totalizando 98 personas en una verdadera fiesta de la paz y de la amistad.
They have lunch in the Tourist Center “Los Queltehues”,
the awarded children, their relatives, parents and accompanying teachers, 98
people in a real party of Peace and friendship.

se prepara durante varios días. Al momento del desfile de las banderas
participan más de 20 voluntarios que deben hacerlas circular rápidamente en
orden y a la vez con solemnidad, a medida que se va anunciando cada país.
The Flags Ceremony requires a fine coordination, it gets
ready during several days. At the moment of the flags parade, participate more
than 20 volunteers that should make them circulate quickly in order, and at the
same time with solemnity, as it is announced each country.

Los niños recibieron trofeo, diploma, medalla, reproducciones
de su tarjeta de paz y obsequios. Viajaron cientos de kilómetros, algunos más de
mil kilómetros (620 millas) para estar presentes.
Children received a trophy, diploma, medal, reproductions of
their Peace cards and gifts. They traveled hundreds of kilometers, some of them
traveled more than thousand kilometers (620 miles) for being present.

Sergio Valdivia dirige una meditación final por la paz de
todas las regiones del mundo e invitando a todos los presentes a repetir la
plegaria "Que la Paz prevalezca en todos nuestros corazones", "Que la Paz
prevalezca en nuestras familias", "Que la Paz prevalezca en la Tierra". Fue
escoltado por la bandera de las Naciones Unidas portada por Victoriano de la
Iglesia y por la bandera de todas las regiones del mundo, portada por Ana
Beatriz Rodríguez. Carlos A. Salazar acompañó con hermosas melodías.
Sergio Valdivia directs a final meditation for the peace of
all the regions of the world and invites to all the present to repeat the prayer
